These terms cover use of SUBSURE by a business and its authorised users. Before connecting billing or activating monitoring, an authorised representative must review and accept these Terms and the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) on behalf of the business.
Who provides SUBSURE
SUBSURE is operated by Valico Services Ltd trading as SUBSURE (company number 14313622), registered office 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom. Contact support@subsure.io.
What the service does
SUBSURE monitors subscription billing information and public customer journeys, compares available information with terms or settings you provide, highlights potential issues and records evidence. A free scan is a snapshot of public pages you ask us to check.
SUBSURE is monitoring software, not legal advice, a compliance certificate or a guarantee that your business meets every legal or contractual obligation. Checks can miss issues or produce findings that need context. You remain responsible for your business, customer communications and decisions. Review findings and obtain qualified advice where needed.
Service availability and updates
Features, availability and integrations may change as we improve SUBSURE. We will take reasonable care when making changes and tell account holders about material changes where appropriate. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Free scans and acceptable use
You may request a scan only for a website you own or are authorised to assess. Provide accurate details, comply with applicable laws and do not disrupt websites, bypass access controls, collect information unlawfully or scan without permission. A free scan checks public pages only; it does not log in, place orders or test a real customer cancellation.
Accounts and billing connections
You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business using the account. Keep sign-in links secure and tell us promptly about unauthorised use. Stripe and GoCardless connections use the provider’s authorisation flow and read-only monitoring permissions. SUBSURE cannot charge, refund or cancel your customers through those connections. You can revoke access with the provider or ask us to disconnect it.
Plans, payment and cancellation
Plan limits, price, billing period and renewal terms are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. When live paid plans are available, a plan renews for the selected period until cancelled. Cancel through Manage plan in the Control Room; cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Any statutory rights that apply are unaffected.
Payment status: live plan payments are not currently enabled. A Sandbox checkout is for testing only and does not create a live paid subscription or charge.
Customer Notices
Customer Notices is monitor-only at present. SUBSURE does not send automated renewal or cancellation messages to your customers. You remain responsible for sending any notices your business must send.
Your content and customer data
You retain rights in content you provide and permit us to host and process it only as needed to operate, secure and support SUBSURE. Upload or connect only material you are entitled to provide. The Data Processing Agreement applies to processing SUBSURE performs on your behalf once an authorised representative accepts it in the account flow. Do not submit data that you are not authorised to provide.
Our Privacy Notice explains information handling. You can request access or deletion at support@subsure.io, subject to legal retention and evidence requirements.
Availability and termination
You can stop using SUBSURE at any time and cancel a paid plan as described above. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address serious misuse or manage a security risk. We will give notice where practical. Request any evidence export you need before closing your account.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. To the extent permitted by law, SUBSURE is not responsible for decisions you make based solely on automated findings, third-party billing or hosting services, or interruptions outside our reasonable control. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights that apply.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as SUBSURE develops and will publish revisions here. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have.
